Gay, lesbian, trans, queer or somewhere in between, this programme of short films only just begins to scratch the surface of the immense diversity and complexity that comes together as a shared Queer history and experience.
From Marialy Rivas’s acclaimed “Blokes” set in the stifling Chilean dictatorship of 1986 to the tropical holiday camp of Hanna Hillard’s Berlinale winning “Franswa Sharl”, these films cross borders and generations in their vital, troubling, funny and heart-warming investigations of the struggles within and imposed.
Curated by Muffin Hix.
